Our economical Tris Buffered Saline with Tween (20x, pH 7.4) is an optimal formulation of pH stabilizers and salts designed to effectively remove excess material in immunohistochemical procedures and ELISAs. By maintaining the proper buffering environment, unbound components can be washed away without suppressing antigen-antibody binding interactions, thereby reducing nonspecific background and increasing the specific signal. Our wash buffers do not contain hazardous preservatives such as sodium azide or mercury that may interfere with antibody-antigen binding interactions.
Tris buffered saline in reagent grade water. Tween 20 is added at a diluted concentration of 0.05%, Tris: 0.05M, NaCl: 0.15M. Final pH of diluted buffer is 7.4±0.05. Our solution is stable for 24 months from the date of manufacture.
